In case you were not aware, last week the International AIDS Conference was in Washington, DC for the first time ever. While the US held in place travel restrictions to the US for any person who is HIV+, the planning committee opted to not hold the IAC in the US for this reason. Since the restrictions were lifted through legislation, the conference was held in the US.
Although there was a conference going on, many other events were occurring throughout DC. Please read a friend’s perspective attending such events. This was a great experience for him.
